A Glaze Marine Sealant
The A Glaze Marine + Active Surface Sealant is a silicon-free fluoro-polymer resin providing protection for painted and GRP surfaces from common causes of degradation - ultra violet light, atmospheric pollution, acid rain and bird lime.
It bonds to the paint surface creating a protective-coating. (Flexible enough to withstand 9” in flight expansion and contraction of Concorde).
Many boat owners suffer from swirl marks due to fender rubbing as well as continuous polishing. The Advantages of Marine A Glaze + Active are:
• Total protection against the harsh environment
• Protection against salt, snow, bird lime, industrial fallout, sun’s ultra violet rays
• Total seal to prevent pollutant impregnation
• A Continuous ‘new looking’ surface
• Black streaks removed with ease
• No more continuous polishing
• Easy cleaning maintenance
• Simple and easy to use
• A 7 mirror image
• Assists in the removal of dust when in contact with water
A Glaze sealant bites into the surface of the GRP or paint finish to a depth of 5/7 microns and creates a surface shield. This prevents practically any form of pollutant from penetrating the sealed surface, thus giving the base material total protection from acid rain, snow, salt, industrial fallout, oxidisation and colour fading but most of all the sun’s ultra violet rays. The A Glaze system is not a polish or a wax but actually bonds to the surface and creates a brilliant, high gloss protective barrier leaving dirt and pollutants resting on the glazed surface. A quick wash will maintain the treated surface leaving it looking pristine.
The marine industry's worst enemy is a combination of ultra violet damage together with salt. The reaction on GRP as well as painted surfaces has been a nightmare for the boating industry causing colour fading and a dry powder effect on the surface. This, over a period of time, not only requires constant maintenance but eventually damages the GRP surface, making it far more porous over exposed areas and causing irreparable damage. The A-Glaze 4.4 Marine treatment applied on a regular basis ensures that all exposed areas are kept in a pristine condition, protected from the Ultra Violet rays and salt and easily maintained.
"Marine A-Glaze Surface Sealant, a new product to the UK market, looks set to finally end the 'never ending' chore of trying to keep the boat clean while at the same time providing a long lasting showroom shine. Too good to be true? The evidence so far suggests otherwise as Peter Caplen finds out!"
Boat Mart - December 2003
All of the major manufacturers are at this moment looking to endorse our product and recommend to their customers that a regular program consisting of the A-Glaze application is adhered to in order to keep their expensive investment in top condition.
Sunseeker International (Boats) Ltd Approve A-Glaze Paint Sealant for use on their boats.

Since then Sunseeker have endorsed A-Glaze Surface Sealant for use on all their boats. Fairline have completed their final stages of their testing and have already approved our products for application on their Gel coats. In fact, all Fairline Marine Craft at the Schroders 2005 Boat Show were treated with A-Glaze Surface Sealant and Fairline distributors around the world now use A-Glaze products.
