How does A-Glaze work? 

A-Glaze is not a polish or a wax and carries no form of silicone.

These advanced products are second generation using new polymers, which bite into the surface to a depth of 5/7 microns. This creates a surface shield, which prevents practically any form of pollutant from penetrating the sealed surface, thus giving the material total protection. The A-Glaze system actually bonds to the surface creating a brilliant, high gloss protective barrier leaving dirt and pollutants resting on the glazed surface easily removed with a quick wash.

 The A-Glaze professional application, covered up to 5 year on cars*, is only available through car dealerships and reputable valeting companies. 

The A-Glaze treatment is a one-off application requiring no conservers or top ups. There are no check ups or special instructions. Just wash your car with a reputable shampoo such as our Wash n Shine shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Finish by leathering the car to achieve a continuous showroom shine.

 A Glaze has been specially formulated for paint protection of Cars and Motorcycles. It is not a polish or a wax but is a permanent seal, guaranteed to keep your paintwork, chrome and stainless steel looking pristine and in showroom condition.    

 Once treated your vehicles paintwork only requires regular washing with any reputable car shampoo or our A Glaze shampoo which contains shine enhancers. No polishing is necessary and U Glaze requires no top ups or conservers to maintain a year round glossy showroom finish. 

  Back in 1996 new legislation regarding automotive paints ruled that all manufacturers would change to water based paints. As these new paints do not need to be baked to the same high temperature as the original oil based paints, very little pollution is pumped into the atmosphere. This new legislation resulted in a much softer paint finish and existing surface sealants used in the automotive sector did not have the same resilience and efficiency.      

 We at A-Glaze had already been preparing for this change which was due to take the manufacturers approximately five or six years to accomplish. By early 2000, our chemists had formulated the first triple polymer sealant that really worked successfully on water-based paints. In 2002 a new stabilising polymer was introduced together with an additional UV absorbing element; thus the A-Glaze 4.4 was created. This new product is used for both painted and GRP surfaces, with a slight differential in formulation. The full strength automotive A-Glaze system is sold as an add-on by car dealerships throughout Great Britain and Europe and applied professionally by the dealerships own valetors who have been specially trained in the process. A-Glaze Fabric Protector is a professionally applied, new technological formula that creates a powerful, undetectable shield of protection, This invisible barrier seals all types of auto-fabrics and carpets, preserving the original texture and appearance. Most water and oil-based spills are easily wiped away without leaving a stain giving total protection against that unexpected spillage.
