If you have kids or grand kids, then you know "Harold the Giraffe". 24 trailers have been servicing NZ for the past 15 years to teach, entertain and empower our Kiwi kids to deal with very real every-day challenges concerning drugs, healthy living, gangs, peer pressure, alcohol and many other stressful challenges to out youth. The "Life Education Trust" of Whangarei has received funds from A-Glaze NZ, The "Free Masons", The "Rotary Clubs", Wynn Frazer Paints and other proud sponsors to renovate the exterior of the 13 mtr trailer going as a mobile classroom from school to school. International Yacht Services staff and management is proud and honoured to be part of this project. We have 3 weeks of school holidays to make this trailer the pride of Whangarei. Covi Super Show 2011
A very well organised show. We do thank the organisers "SPOT ON" Publications for making all this possible. Most of our visitors came well informed already. We noted a general wish to maintain both newly aquired vans and those people had looked after for years.
The main reason in these tough times were the desire to keep a solid second hand value without the endless effort of using traditional polish.
And in case you wonder why the "Spot On" cars always look "Spot On", ..... they are A-Glazed, too!
One year after and shiny as,.....
This Kontiki 660 was renovated and surfaced coated with A-Glaze in July 2011. Please also see the September 2011 issue of the "Motorcaravanner". We brought it down for those NZMCA members who still don't believe that we can seal fibreglass for over a year. The proof is in the pudding.
Glass-cancer and how to get rid of those stains
Mostly motorhomes and cars with "real" glass are suffering from exessive water stains on windows. Our Australian neighbours call it "Glass Cancer". It can become a real nuisance, often disturbing the driver and copilot as it's getting harder and harder to see left and right. But is also cuts into the fun of the spectacular views offered by new Zealand's nature. Many people had tried many different things to get rid of these stains, which seemingly are resistant to most cleaning products. Using abrasives ends with scratched windows. Acid washes are dangerous business. The Mega-Yachts and off shore fishing boats presented us with the same problem on a larger scale. So we felt it was time for a little Kiwi No.8 wire-engineering.
Guess what....we found out how to remove the stains. We use an A-Glaze Marine product to fix the problem. It also takes a very slow going grinder and a skilled person. If you like to get rid of those stains on a permanent basis, then please contact your nearest A-Glaze applicator or ourselves in Whangarei on tel 09 4388800. You will be looking at about 80 NZD/window and need to allow a good hour at least for the guys to do it. Once the stains are removed, we seal the glass with our A-Glaze Chrystal Vision, so it won't happen again.Enjoy the view!

Today must be Thursday...................... and we are still cruisin on heading back home ............... but decided to park up on the beach in the Firth of Thames ..............testing the sea air on the exterior ...............and eating wonderful local and from afar, farm fresh produce! What a life this retirement is!

Famous for their outstanding quality already, both new and pre-loved KEA Campers can be sealed with A-Glaze. The coating is offered as optional extra on both new and pre-loved vehicles. A-Glaze trials have also commenced with the first vehicles being released into the rental fleet. If things go to plan, the vehicles will be easier to care for and have an even nicer appearance before they become available on the market. A-Glaze 2 year sealant was used on the fibre glass surfaces and future customers will be able to see the result on selected vehicles at the NZ Motorhome and Caravan Show in Hamilton, 3rd to 6th of March. Over the past months Traillite has successfully tried our products which have helped to keep vehicles clean prior to being sold. A growing number of Traillite owners are opting to have their vehicles A-Glaze treated, windows sealed against dirt and dust plus having their carpets and upholstery sealed against staining, dust and dirt.
